I ran the Munich Marathon on Sunday 10th October. It was an incredible experience and now I'm keen to give back and support an important cause that desperately needs more attention and vital funds to support millions of people in East Africa. 

20 million people in Eastern Africa are facing severe hunger, following the worst drought in 40 years. Four years of failed harvests, erratic rainfall and rocketing global food prices have meant that East Africa is facing its worst food crisis for decades. ActionAid is working with local partner organisations and women leaders to provide live-saving food, water, and livelihoods support in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somaliland.

- £10 could help ActionAid reach more people in urgent need of essentials such as water 

- £45 could provide a family with a month's supply of food like vegetables, oil and sugar 

- £100 could provide 5 girls in Somaliland with dignity kits, helping them to manage their periods with dignity
