Story

** I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Faceo FM UK Ltd who have very generously given us £500 that will help towards the cost of this journey.  It's much appreciated - www.faceo.co.uk **

4 Men, 4 Bikes, over 350 odd Miles, 4 Days, and 1 Dream…

RUGBY to PARIS

Four Rugby-based cyclists are embarking on a gruelling endurance ride from Rugby, in the Midlands, through London, to the centre of Paris.  They will negotiate two ofEurope’s most prominent capitals this July to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses.  The ride will finish just before the end of the Tour de France, which will provide a fitting end to their epic journey.

Sonny Winston, Andy Walker, Craig McKee and Simon Mitchell have all had family members suffer with the debilitating effects of cancer in recent years.  The help and support, that some of these family members have received, from the Macmillan Nurses has been both heart warming and far in excess of anyone’s expectations.  Macmillan Nurses, who are mostly volunteers, have given their time to ensuring that cancer sufferers receive the best possible care and have the best quality of life possible.

The group feel that they would like to give something back to those nurses who have selflessly given their time, patience, and care to help others.

The team have already begun the vigorous training programme that is required in order to successfully complete the ride on time, and have many more months of intense training to complete before the start of the ride.

The group are now looking for your support for this worthwhile cause in any way that you possibly can.  Along with raising as much money as possible, we are looking for sponsorship to help with bike spares, food and accommodation, among many other things.  If you feel that you could assist with any of these things, even in just a small way, or you would just like to donate money, please get in touch.

Kind Regards,

Sonny, Andy, Craig, and Simon
