Story
In November 2018, our baby, Rex, was born at just 25 weeks and 3 days. Rex was in hospital for three and a half months, but finally came home on oxygen in February 2019. Since then he has gone from strength to strength. We have countless people to thank for the incredible support we have been given. Firstly, Queen Charlotte's, a world renowned neo-natal hospital on our door-step and the incredible doctors and nurses who saved Rex's life too many times to mention. Secondly, all of our friends and family who went through the Rex Rollercoaster with us. And thirdly, the amazing charities who support babies and parents going through what we did.
One of these charities is Bliss, who help support the more than 100,000 babies born needing neonatal care every year. I am running the Virtual London Marathon on October 4th to fundraise for them. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by enabling life-changing research. campaigning for better neonatal care and supporting parents to care for their babies.
