Story

Hello all,

Over the last couple of years we as a family have been affected by Myeloma when my Mum / Andy's wife, Sandie, got diagnosed. It was a hard time while trying to come to terms with everything and still now brings moments of worry and sadness to us all. The amazing team at Myeloma took time to not just comfort Sandie but also all of us who were struggling to understand just what the Cancer was all about and how it would effect us going forward.

What they made us realise is that although whenever you hear the 'C' word it causes great panic, really, there are treatments and ways of subduing this awful disease. I was quickly made aware that there are multiple ways of keeping it at bay and not disrupting our family more than it already has. I believe that going forward all of your kind donations will be put towards further treatments that can keep families together for longer and maybe even one day find a cure that will save so many people across the world.

We appreciate your donations in advance and thank you for choosing to put your money to a genuinely fantastic cause.

Now, time to show the old man what real running looks like!

All the best,

Ben and Andy
