We undertake global conservation work to ensure people and nature both thrive

Story

I am 11 years old and I am going to do a swim from Bournemouth pier to Boscombe pier with no wetsuit!! This will be the furthest I’ve ever swam!!! To raise money for endangered species. This will take place in the late morning on the 20th of September 2020. I am also going to stop eating foods and using products with Palm oil in.

My favourite endangered species are: snow leopard and a dugong (which is a bit like a walrus/sea lion)!! Because there are not many of them left, now we need to make a change because otherwise more species will be added to this list and it will get bigger and bigger unless we change our ways. It is important to be aware and protect the vulnerable nature and species. Small things added together can make a bigger impact.

WWF is at the heart of global efforts to address the world’s most important environmental challenges: safeguarding the natural world, tackling climate change and enabling people to use only their fair share of natural resources. Together we can build a future where people and nature thrive.Your support is much appreciated.Find out more by visiting wwf.org.uk
