Outbreak crisis: fund raising to help stop strangles outbreak · 30 May 2015

Redwings is the largest horse sanctuary in the UK, caring for over 1,500 resident horses, ponies, donkeys and mules at nine sites. Redwings rescues and rehabilitates horses in need, re-homing them when possible and offering lifelong specialist care for those unable to live outside of the Sanctuary.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Despite their best efforts, there has been an outbreak of 'strangles' at Redwings - the horse sanctuary. This is a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease. Their worst affected farm, which is home to 400 horses, has 9 quarantine zones caring for 17 sick horses.

It may sound easy but giving up digitals for me will be tough. I may also be doing various activities throughout the week and will be doing craft workshops and all the money raised will be instantly donated to Redwings. We really need your help to stop the outbreak, help quarantine the horses and to pay for supplies, equipment and tests.
