Story
Four paws and 12 weeks ago, I was fortunate to wag my tail a little bit more than the other pooches and scurry my way home to the fireside of my new two-legged parents. Before I landed this cushy number, I was trapped in a bedroom, undersocialised and covered in faeces. It was not a very nice place for me or my doggy friends (one of whom died there in the room beside me). I was so incredibly scared of everything and everyone that I was reluctant to leave the RSPCA and the care and encouragement that they gave me, but I knew I had to as I couldn't stay there forever.
Since then, I've been very lucky to attend training classes. I'm not bragging, but I'm pretty clever and came top of the class! I'm still a little unsure of other dogs, so the RSPCA have continued to support me and let me play with the woofs looking for a new home in their care. This has helped me no end and I'm now able to walk alongside other dogs without shaking and panicking.
My owners love to run, so I've taken running up as a sport. I love it and I've lost some weight - which means I'm now slim and fighting fit as well as becoming more confident and outgoing! I'm also taking up swimming, so that might be my next challenge once I get used to my life vest.
I've decided that the RSPCA have been so good to me that I now need to repay their kindness, so I'm raising money for them and I'm keeping fit in the process.
Please help me raise my target of £1,000 apparently my mum and dad said this is a lot of money and you can get 1,000s of doggy biscuits.
Unfortunately, I don't think they're hoping for biscuits, but it will certainly go towards veterinary care.
Please support my challenge, I will smother you in kisses and wag my tail endlessly in euphoria.
