Story
Our sister/daughter/sister in law to be, Ella, has a rare autoimmune liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). She has spent multiple weeks in hospital and has gone through many procedures whilst looking after her 9 month old son.
The symptoms can be severe and unpredictable, and can often lead to a liver transplant. However, even after a transplant, PSC returns in around a third of patients. There is no way to slow or stop the progress of this devastating disease and people living with PSC desperately need a cure. PSC support helps drive groundbreaking research to find this cure and to provide support for those affected by the disease.
We, Ruby, Joe, Izzi and Gillian are running a total of 230km to raise money for PSC Support. We are each running the following:
Joe - 100km single day with 3,704 feet of elevation (Race to the Stones July) plus and 50km single day with 5,121 feet of elevation and Volcanos (Ultra X Azores May)
Izzi - 50km single day with 1,973 feet of elevation (also Race to the Stones July)
Ruby - 21km at the Royal Parks Half Marathon, October
Gillian - 10k at Battersea Park, April
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. All money goes towards PSC support.
