My friend Amena Ravat sadly lost her battle to cancer yesterday, leaving behind her 3 year old daughter and her husband.

We are heartbroken not being able to say goodbye to her due to the current situation. What we have decided to do is raise funds to provide water for the poor and needy which will be a memorial in the name of our beautiful friend Amena.

The Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said: "The best form of charity is giving someone water to drink".

Our gift of £150 can provide a family with a hand pump which will give them fresh clean drinking water. Our gift of £750 can provide a whole community with fresh, clean and safe drinking water in the loving memory of Amena Ravat. So every time someone drinks from the water pump they will say a prayer for our beloved friend.
