Story

As some of you remember, back over the month of April, Ruben completed a challenge set by the Aston Villa Foundation called Jacks 10k in return for his beloved Jack Grealish medal.

He managed to raise just shy of £400 and learnt the valuable lesson that there’s people out there less fortunate than us.

Well a new challenge has been set by the club, called McGinns Merry Miles, which is a 7 mile challenge, whether 7 a day, 7 a week, or 7 for the month. Ruben can’t wait to add a John McGinn medal to his growing collection, and it certainly will be a challenge in this weather, and becoming a big brother in just under two weeks!

I understand it’s December, and money is tight, but if you can spare £1 to donate towards his challenge, we would all be extremely grateful.

Ruben is taking part in AVFC McGinn's 7 Merry Miles Challenge - raising funds for their Villa Kitchen project. Villa Kitchen is AVFC's hot food initiative, providing hot meals to the most vulnerable in the community.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all, love Ruben x
