Dunblane Boys' Brigade members will collectively swim the distance across Lake Malawi (75km!) to raise funds to help 'Raise the Roof' - to rebuild the cooking shelter at Nansato Primary School in our partner community of Likhubula.

The shelter was partially destroyed by climate changed-induced cyclones in 2021 and 2022 and at the moment the local women volunteers have to cook in the open elements. In partnership with Classrooms for Malawi, we aim to raise £6,500 to rebuild the building to allow up to 500 children a day to be given a free bowl of nutritious porridge to help them grow - and learn in school.

In the month of March 2023, we'll spend two evenings at the swimming pool collectively putting in 75km of lane swimming - 1.25KM each, i.e. 50 lengths!!!
