Retail Transport Services a year of 'Challenges' · 20 November 2019

We operate a flying intensive care unit to fly critically ill babies and children.

Story

RTS started out in Coventry in Dec 1999 (I know, can you believe it!!), to celebrate it's 20th year we wanted to give back by trying to raise some awareness and of course money for a brilliant life saving cause.

The Children's Air Ambulance are the first and only national dedicated transfer service for critically ill children and babies- a flying intensive care unit.  Unbelievably the charity does not receive any government funding and relies on donations to help keep them flying.

The teams in our Coventry and Manchester offices will be setting themselves some personal challenges for 2020.  Expect some moaning about creaking joints!!  Whatever we raise the company will match.

Go on dig deep, £24 can buy children's ear defenders, £40 pays for 2400l of oxygen, £171 pays for fuel for 30mins, £3,500 could fly a child with the air ambulance
