Story
Isaac and Ruari have set themselves the goal of sleeping out for at least 50 consecutive nights in a tent in their back garden in Acomb, York. In rain, wind and sunshine, the boys have not missed a night since they started their challenge on 7 April. They will hit the 50 night mark on Tuesday 26 May.
Isaac (11) said: "We have been sleeping in a tent in our garden since 7 April and decided to raise some money for charity by doing it. We've chosen to support RSPCA York Animals Home because we recently adopted two adorable kittens from them, and we wanted to give something back to help them continue their vital work looking after the animals in their care during the current crisis."
Ruari (9) said: "I chose RSPCA York Animals Home beacuse I love animals and I want to help them through this tough time. Our kittens, Frodo and Samwise, came from the RSPCA and we need to help them look after other animals like them."
All the money raised by Isaac and Ruari will help to feed and look after the animals staying at the RSPCA York Animals Home, and to rescue animals in danger. They need help now more than ever because all their charity shops are closed and events can't happen. Please help the RSPCA look after animals like Frodo and Samwise until they can find their forever homes!
