Story
Hello Everyone,
On the 27th February 2023, 9 members from across the RSK group will be embarking on a 2.5 week trip out to Uganda in support of UgandAid!
UgandAid supports vulnerable young Ugandans, sponsoring them through quality vocational training, bringing hope and enabling them to break free from the cycle of poverty. UgandAid work closely with the Nile Vocational Institute (NVI) who offer vocational training for students on subjects such as catering, secretarial studies, hairdressing, mechanical and tractor operation to provide students with lifelong skills for the future.
As part of the project, we will be visiting NVI, helping with a revamp of their Catering and Hotel Management Department and medical centre, and meeting the new students, visiting their villages where they are from and providing welcome packs of pens, books and toiletries. We will also be engaged in projects within the local town of Jinja and adjacent suburbs and villages, providing help to the local communities and learning about other projects members of UgandAid run in the area!
We will also be meeting the student that RSK sponsor on an annual basis to undertake their chosen course at NVI and gain key skills and qualifications to improve their lives.
If you could spare any money to help fund this project and go towards improving the lives of vulnerable young Ugandans so they can get an education and a good start in life, please do. As previous years, it only needs to be a small amount, but any donation can make a huge difference. All raised funds will be taken out to Uganda with us and go directly to the projects we are working on and the students at NVI.
Please, feel free to share the link of the donation page with friends, family and on social media.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our page
and for any support you give!
