Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year, the intrepid Rutland Runners will once again take part in the British London 10K on July 9th, and as an additional challenge on June 25th, three of the team will attempt to abseil the Orbit Tower in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, the UK's highest freefall abseil.

We are fundraising in memory of our dear son, brother, colleague and friend Joseph Tyers who was cruelly taken from us at the age of just 20 years old in a tragic road collision. Brake provided us with much needed information, support and practical help at a time when we were trying to cope and recover from the terrible shock of losing Joseph. We truly appreciate your donations, large or small, which will all go to support the vital work of Brake....
