So this is the BIG one, the Rouleurs first organised sportive! And what better way to start than taking on the beast that is London Oxford London! Or as we call it The Cannonball Run! This will be a great early season event to get the juices flowing for sure, why not join in the fun.

Total distance comes in at 72 miles and 3000ft one way, or 143 miles and 5700ft for those doing the return as well. Starting at Richmond Park and finishing at the Hare and Hounds In Sheen. You dont have to be a club member to attend. And one way options are available, the train station at Oxford is based in the centre so easy to get back if needed.

We meet at 8am by Colicci Cafe in Richmond Park, just off Roehampton gate. There will be multiple levels of groups riding, but you do need to be self sufficient and able to ride on your own.

Ride Gradings

Steady: 13mph / 21 kmh average
Intermediate: 15mph / 24 kmh
Intermediate+: 16mph / 26 kmh
Advanced: 17+ mph / 27+ kmh

We finish at the Hare and Hounds pub in Mortlake after the ride so all are welcome to pop along.

GPX file available here.  Please download for you navigation device.

We will have a registration point at Richmond Park and a finishers point at the Hare and Hounds to clock in at the end.

This will be a nice place to finish and celebrate a fine achievement indeed.

Please bring water bottles, snacks, cash/cards for coffee, lights, a pump, Allen keys/multi-tool and at least one spare inner tube.
