We’re aiming to raise £3,000 for Cats Protection, as for every cat they rehome, at least another three need their help, and the bills don't pay themselves!
In August 2021, We’ll be part of a team flying out to Zambia to take part in a three day sponsored canoe trip down the Zambezi River. We will be camping by the river for four nights and canoeing for up to eight hours each day, hoping to see but avoid the hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and wildebeest! (We’re also really hoping to see some giraffe and zebra! :) ) If we're very very lucky, we may even spot a lion!
After the canoe challenge, we'll be visiting the lion the lion conservation project in Victoria Falls to see the amazing work that the team do to try and conserve these magnificent big cats. We will also have the opportunity to visit Chobe National Park in Botswana, participating in a game drive to hopefully see some lions in the wild.
Any donations, no matter how small, will help us meet our target and this money will go to help the cats and kittens of Nottinghamshire who need a helping paw in life. The Bulwell and Beeston Catwatch programmes are run by Cats Protection, and help care for feral, stray and community cats in these areas by carrying out trap, neuter, return programmes and providing support to the communities who care for these cats.
Thank you for your kind donation!
