Fundraising for Marie Curie
I'm not going to kayak down the Zambezi or abseil down the shard. No sitting in a bathtub of gel or jumping out of a plane. You'll probably think it a relatively easy challenge, but those who know me well understand that just a short walk can bring on chronic head pain.
I'm going to take part in the WalkTen on 31st August at the Badminton Estate. Walking 10KM in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
My mother died from the disease last year and this was a charity she always supported. So I'll be walking in memory of "Mum" and raising money for this wonderful charity.
Marie Curie Nurses care for terminally ill people and their families.
Please sponsor me and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.
£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for your support.
