Story
We are running to raise funds for Refugee Youth Project - a small UK-based charity that works with community-based partners to provide support and activities for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and internationally.
We employ very few paid staff and are run by a dedicated group of volunteer trustees. Your donations are vital to ensure the continuation of our work. You can read more about our projects below or by visiting our website (www.refugeeyouthproject.org.uk)
Since Refugee Youth Project was formed in 2004, we have run 7 summer activity projects for Palestinian children living in southern Lebanon including disabled children, many of whom cannot access education.
We have been supporting Bhutanese refugee children living in long-term camps in Nepal since 2007. We fund dedicated staff to identify and provide targeted assistance to children living in difficult circumstances (such as without parental support). In 2011 we ran a filmmaking project for young Bhutanese refugees who recently moved the UK. To watch the film visit our website:

Since 2005, we have been running social activities and peer support services for young refugees living in London Borough of Barnet and we are hoping to expand these activities to Croydon in 2012.
