Hello there and welcome to the donations page of the Royal Mail Recruitment's Three Peak Challenge in Twenty Four hours for Barnardo's !

Firstly let me tell you a little about what we're planning to do...

Five friends from the recruitment team (Neale Jarrett, Chris Hayes, Darren Vernon, Chris Adams and Paul Shawcroft) in Royal Mail have decided to push their walking and climbing skills to the limit and climb the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales... all within the space of twenty four hours.  Becuase this is no mean feat, we have teamed up with the Royal Mail endorsed footwear provider, HI-TEC/MAGNUM.  If 'Posties' can walk all those mailes in them everyday, surely we can't go wrong!

The team (sporting moustaches and donning other available grown facial hair) will be departing from Chesterfield, travelling the 374 Miles to Ben Nevis.  Starting the 4368 foot climb at 5pm on Tuesday the 25th of May, then once we have descended down Ben Nevis (Scotland), we will then travel the 259 miles to Scafell Pike (England), hopefully beginning the 3179 foot journey up at 5am on the Wednesday morning.  Once Scafell is conquered, we will travel the 209 Miles to Snowden (Wales).  Where, hopefully, we can scale the 3526 feet and dismount her before the 5pm deadline.  Thats why they call it a challenge!  Then we will make our way back to Chesterfield, completing the 977 mile car journey.  Well over 1000 mile round trip including the walking/climbing!
