I'm doing this trek in memory of my grandad who suffered from Leukemia and sadly passed away in June 2011. He always enjoyed his visits to Beaumont House and always returned home fully refreshed and as well as he could be.

It was always a relief to know he was being cared for at such a special place and one where all friends, family and patients alike knew they could feel at ease.

It costs around £800,000 per year to run the hospice and it cares for around 400 patients per year so obviously, every penny we can raise is hugely important.

If you could try to dig deep it would be amazing but whatever you feel you can afford will be just brilliant!
