Story
Roy Bowden and his daughter Sarah Carter:
'Most of us will know someone with Parkinson's. None of us are immune, it is something that can affect any of us and is such a frightening condition to even think about.
We have known and have lost some very brave and courageous friends and acquaintances who have fought Parkinson's with such dignity.
We also have friends who battle everyday with Parkinson's.
Parkinson's can and will affect; maybe me, maybe you or maybe someone we love and care about ......every pound donated to Parkinson's UK will help us all.''
Roy is a retired police officer and has worked as a Private Investigator for the last 28 years. Although almost a pensioner is he always up for a challenge.
Sarah is a solicitor/advocate specialising in criminal law working at Murrays Solicitors in Bradford, West Yorkshire. She has always been a keen swimmer & swimming instructor but this is her first venture into
open water swimming.
