Story
In December I'll be attempting to become the first adaptive person ever to solo row the Atlantic. I'm taking on the 3,000 mile challenge with the aim or reaching, supporting and inspiring young people facing physical and mental trauma. Each day I'm on the ocean I'll be rowing for a different young person, sharing their story, along with links to charities and organisations providing support.
I'm also aiming to raise awareness about the incredible work of Climbing Out, the charity I set up after my own life changing injury, and to raise £50,000 for the charity.
Climbing Out runs 5 day outdoor activity programmes aimed at rebuilding confidence and self esteem in young people facing life changing injury, illness or trauma. You can see more at http://climbingout.org.uk/
