Next event - 23rd April - 12 hour row at Deeside Leisure Centre!
------------------
Ever since landing back in the UK after the Indian Tiger Trek in 2017, we have been desperate to continue challenging ourselves further both mentally and physically.
This time it will be our arms doing the hard work!
We will spend three long hot days rowing down the Zambezi River in Africa. Dodging hippos, crocodiles and sharing the water with elephants and other wild animals. Our nights will be spent camping at the side of the river with just a tent dividing us from the wilderness! After completing the challenge we will carry out conservation work for the big cats of Africa, the lion! Finally we visit a national park learning more about the work being done to keep these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
We are self funding the trip, and in addition raising funds for a particular area of work that Cats Protection do, Everton Cat Watch. This is a project which Kelly is currently volunteering for, in which street cats are neutered, treated for illness and where possible rehomed. Everton has a large number of street cats needing help, and we hope the money we raise can make a difference to them.
Please keep an eye out for any events that we will be hosting. We would love to see you there having fun!
