Rower Roadshow
Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Thank you for showing an interest in my fundraising event. My aim is to raise £4000 [revised recenlty from £2000] for Cancer Research UK by doing a series of rowing events, both individually and some team events.
Any size donation is welcome, but if you donate £5 or more you can enter my fun competition to win a weekend break for two!
HOW TO DONATE AND PLAY
It’s easy to donate and win!
If you are donating less than £5, that’s fine, you do not need to enter a time.
If your donation is £5 or more you can take a guess at the time I will record at the Indoor Rowing Championships on November 12th at the NIA in Birmingham.
When you get to the Commit Payment page, simply put your name in the My Name or Nickname field and your guess in the My Message field in this format: [mm:ss:hh].
Ensure you tick the box indicating that you are happy for the owner to see your email address as this will be needed to contact the winner!
If you have any questions or messages, please email me at lachlan@rowerroadshow.co.uk I would love to hear from you!
Please visit my website for full details: www.rowerroadshow.co.uk
The 'Rower Roadshow element is based around my target of going from unfit to fit between Janaury 06 and November 06 at which time I will compete in the National Indoor Rowing Championships. I aim to achieve a time of 7 minutes for 2000 metres... a very ambitious target considering my best time in March was 8 minutes!
All my progress will be kept updated on my website.
It is the kind donations that will spur me through the hard training and help reach the target of £2000.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
