Alison and Rowena’s Himalayan Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at 13,500ft

www.fishtailfund.com was set up (by the Rotary club) 4 years ago to support clever, hardworking but very poor Nepalese children stay in school and improve their prospects. Many of these kids go into employment aged 11 to support their families & to put food on the table. Women in particular miss out on education after primary school level.

The fundraising from this trek will directly support 2 Nepalese girls called Gandira & Sangita into higher education. Both have been sponsored by the Fishtail fund through secondary school and are keen to continue their studies.

Gandira (17) has won a place on an Engineering degree and Sangita (18) would like to pursue a career in Nursing.

Without our support, they wouldn't be able to afford their studies on their own & realise their ambitions.

We have funded the trip ourselves (Thanks Mum!) so All money donated will go to support these girls...
