Story
We all have been affected by cancer some way or another. Whether it's directly or indirectly, cancer has an impact on the lives of not only the patient, but also family and friends. We, as the States of Jersey Ambulance Service, have regular contact with Islanders who have either just been diagnosed, going through treatment or have completed their treatment. With this in mind, a small group of Ambulance Personnel have challenged themselves to participate in this year's Rowathon. Each team must row 30,000 metres in total. Each team comprises of six participants who will row 1,000m at a time before switching over and taking turns in order. Each team member will row for a total of 5,000m altogether (split into 5 x 1000m turns). Help us raise funds for a much needed charity, Macmillan Jersey
