The Cystic Fibrosis Care charity is a UK charity (reg charity number: 1162445) that helps to support the people and families affected by Cystic Fibrosis and supplies medical equipment for people with CF. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic condition that affects the respiratory and digestive system from birth. They produce too much mucus in their lungs which makes it difficult to breathe and are frequently in hospital with dangerous infections.

I am fundraising for this charity because my friend, Jago, and two of his siblings have CF. He gave an amazing talk a few weeks ago talking about how he has struggled and overcome difficult times. He always says yes to adventure, running several marathons, trekking in the Himalayas and even climbing Mont Blanc! I was so inspired by him that I decided I would run an ultra marathon in the Saharan desert next year! I hope that I can raise awareness about CF along the way and help to inspire more people to say yes to adventure!
