Story

Hello, and thanks for visiting my page.

This all came about due to my most recent reflections on a few things:

1. I have yet to raise a significant sum of money for charity

2. I enter my 30th year without a significant sporting achievement to my name (I am told the school sack race does not count)

3. and most importantly... my new suit trousers have a 36 inch waist and my BMI officially classes me as "overweight"!

I have therefore applied to run in the London marathon and have chosen the Alzheimer's Society as my charity.

My dear late grandma suffered from dementia alongside about 1/3rd of people over the age of 65. Her quality of life was significantly impacted, however she was helped by the Alzheimer's Society who provided great support as well as doing an excellent job at promoting medical research.

I would greatly appreciate any donation, large or small - so THANK YOU!
