Story

The Hadrian’s Wall Path is a National Trail stretching coast to coast across northern England, from Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne in the east to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast.

Jim Rawson is currently planning to walk 40 of the most
interesting miles for Wigan Rotary Club. He will achieve this in stages from west to east.

''I will be taking on half of the 84 mile Journey and any money donated will be paid in directly to the charity account of Wigan Rotary Club.

This will enable the club to continue the vital work being done to provide food and shelter to the needy folks in our borough."
