Story
First of all, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
It never ceases to amaze me how many of the world greatest and craziest ideas are often thought up over a pint. Anyway, following my last challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2007, I've now decided to take on the challenge of trekking across Nepal, climbing to some 5,545m (18,187ft) and staying at the base camp of the world's highest mountain - Everest. In order to make it a little more interesting I've decided to throw in a couple of extra milestones to help break up the monotony of the gym (i.e. London BUPA 10K (May), JP Morgan Chase 5.6K (July), Standard Chartered City Race 5K (July), Bupa Capital Race (September), Tonbridge 10K (September), Windsor 1/2 Marathon) (September) and to give you a little more sweat for your buck, so to speak! Once again, this is an excellent opportunity to raise some funds for a great cause, and as such I would be most grateful if you would consider sponsoring me.
This year, all the money that I raise will go directly to supporting the great work done by the 'Help for Heroes' Charity. This charity was launched in October 2007 and provides direct support to servicemen and women wounded in the line of duty in current conflicts. So all that remains to be said is please dig deep!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
