Story

Paddy and I thank you for visiting our page and celebrating our upcoming marriage with us!

We had a wee chat and decided that we aren't into 'traditional' weddings and as long as we had Pippa then we had everything we need in life! No plates, no cups and no toasters!

Instead we decided that if you, our friends and family, really wanted to give us something it should go to a good cause.

If you are on this page then the chances are you know that my mum Lindsey died suddenly in September. She was only 52 years old. She suffered from severe lung disease and had declined significantly over the preceding year. We knew that her time was limited but did not expect her to pass as suddenly as she did.

The Accord Hospice has been absolutely wonderful in the following months and have provided bereavement counselling for me. This was provided through the kindness of a palliative care consultant who I'm sure a sneaky nurse on my ward took aside and was informed him of my loss.

The Palliative care team provides a hospice and in-hospital service to patient's with life-limiting diseases including end-of-life care. Accord Hospice, Paisley provides many of these services to the community of Paisley. I have never seen such a caring team who make such a massive difference.

To stay open they need to raise £1.6 MILLION a YEAR!

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
