Story
On the 28th January 2022 our daughter Rosie was born at 27+5 weeks weighing 1lb 7oz. Our little fighter was cared for in the Neonatal ICU of the Royal Maternity Hospital before being transferred to the Neonatal Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital. Rosie spent 77 days being cared for by fantastic doctors and nurses before coming home with us on the 15th April. Our strong little girl is now a happy and healthy 8 month old who goes from strength to strength everyday.
To mark world prematurity month, on the 26th November I will be completing a marathon carrying 77lb on my back. 1 lb for every day Rosie spent in hospital. I will be doing this to raise vital funds for TinyLife who support families in Northern Ireland whose babies are born premature or sick.
I am doing this for to thank the amazing neonatal teams in RVH and CAH and TinyLife for supporting our family.
I appreciate every donation big or small!
