Story
Hi all,
Sadly last year after a long battle with cancer my Grandad Tom passed away. It has been a difficult year for all of the family but we were comforted by the care that Grandad received from the Macmillan nurses.
I decided that I wanted to do something in memory of him and going totally against my lazy lifestyle I decided to run the London Marathon after going to see friends and family do it in 2011.
Knowing that Grandad would find me doing any sort of running hilarious has driven me to train hard and raise as much money as I can and hopefully fingers crossed complete the London Marathon in 2012.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a fantastic charity that I am sure means a great deal to alot of you, so it would be really appreciated if you could dig deep and to give me the support to get around the course!
Thanks for your time
Ross
