Story
My name is Ross Brace and I am currently in my second year of university studying Event and Festival management. For one of my modules I was required to find 100 hours work placement to which I volunteered for a charity group called Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity providing care and support for adults and children in Herts and Bucks diagnosed with life-limiting illness. Through their unique 24/7 responsive hospice at home service and a range of day services they make it possible for patients to choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. The support they provide for families both during the illness and after bereavement is an integral part of their care.
On my first day in the office it came to my attention that they offer an opportunity for thrill seekers to take part in a sponsored skydive. I decided to take the plunge and sign up for the skydive which will take place on June 10th 2018. The minimum amount of sponsorship to raise for the tandem skydive is £400 with approximately £200 going to Rennie Grove.
Alongside my studies and volunteer work I work part time at CES Hire. I really enjoy my job at CES and work alongside a great team who are supporting me in my skydive fundraiser. CES have kindly agreed to cover the cost of the skydive ensuring that all the money I now raise will go to Rennie Grove Hospice Care. I hope to raise £1,500 for this fantastic charity and any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to the charity.
Donations can be made here on my just giving page.
Thank you in advance.
