Story
On the 1st October 2022, I unexpectedly and tragically lost my beautiful sister Tuesdee Ahir. At the age of 28 she was 1 of 9 children and the youngest girl in our family.
In April 2023, I have chosen to run the London marathon in memory of my sister Tuesdee for Diabetes UK as it’s a charity close to mine and my families hearts. My younger brother Ryan also has type 1 Diabetes.
Tuesdee was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes from the age of 5. She managed her diabetes well and always saw the positives but it didn’t come without its struggles.
Tuesdee was an amazing daughter, sister, aunty and friend. She had the kindest, biggest heart a young girl could have. From the moment Tuesdee was born we knew she was unique, from her cheeky smile to her funny character and free spirit.
Tuesdee had such a special quality of making everyone around her feel so comfortable and welcome. She would walk into any room and whether she knew you or not she would make you feel at ease in her presence. She would always have a smile on her face and would go out of her way to introduce herself even if she didn’t know you. She was always so warm and very loving. What everyone loved about Tuesdee was that she had time for everyone she met, she was a great listener and always genuinely cared and wanted the best for people.
Tuesdee was one of a kind and there isn’t a day that goes by where I am not thinking about her. She will be sorely missed each and every day.
Any donation is greatly appreciated by me and my family.
Lots of love
Ross Ahir
