Cancer takes the best. A common phrase but one that we now know to be true. You could never run out of positive ways to describe Millie McLean, everybody who met her instantly fell in love with her kind-spirited, bubbly, funny and loving nature. Her laugh could be heard for miles and you could guarantee to be cheered up in her company.

Seeing what Millie and her family went through as she battled cancer was eye opening. Witnessing all the help and support that they received from charities throughout her illness, showed us what an important role they play in helping both patients and families affected by cancer.

Millie always wanted to help others and loved a challenge, so what better way to celebrate her memory than to try and do the same. We would like to complete the 10k in memory of Millie to raise money for Macmillan so that more people affected by cancer can be helped.
