Story
On that night I will be taking part in the Starlight Ladies Walk to raise money for the Williams Syndrome Foundation. The Starlight Walk is a half marathon (13 miles) walk around the streets of Warrington starting at midnight. There is expected to be around 1500 of us walking that night. I'm aiming to walk the 13 miles in about 3.5 hours!
I would really like to raise £1000 for the Williams Syndrome Foundation by doing this walk and I need your help. As many of you know this small charity is very close to my heart, as our daughter, Abbey, has Williams Syndrome. Abbey was diagnosed at 7 months old. At that time we turned to the WSF for help and guidance and they provided a wealth of information and support. They introduced us to medical experts knowledgeable in Williams Syndrome and they put us in touch with other local families who also have children with Williams Syndrome. We receive ongoing support from the Foundation and its members, helping us through each new phase of Abbey's life.
Anyone who sponsors my Starlight Walk will be raising funds to finance new research projects to learn more about this rare condition and to provide families with support. This is my way of giving something back to the Williams Syndrome Foundation so that they can support other families who are just coming to terms with a diagnosis in their family and to continue their research programmes. If you would like to learn more about the Williams Syndrome Foundation click on:

Your donation is secure; see the privacy policy for further details. If you are a UK taxpayer please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box - the Williams Syndrome Foundation will receive 28% extra at no cost to you.
Thank you so much for viewing this page and donating! Please pass the link for this page onto all of your friends and ask them to donate too - every penny counts!
And if you see me on Saturday 20th June and I'm looking a bit more tired than usual....now you know the reason why ;-)
Thanks, Rosie
