Record Breaking Bake off attempt & Spring Fayre in Aid of Oakhaven Hospice

On Thursday 13th April two of our chefs from Rosie Lea Kitchen will be attempting to break the World Record for the longest Bake Off in history! The record currently stands at 25 hours so Rachel; & Phil have pledged to keep baking for over 26 tiring hours to raise much needed funds for OAkhaven Hospice.
The Bake Off will begin at 2pm on Thursday 13th and continue through the night and into Good Friday the 14th when we launch our Grand Spring Fayre in the grounds of the beautiful Setley Ridge Garden Centre, Farm Shop & Tea Room.
From 10am local food producers and crafts makers will be selling their wares as you wander around the site and even into our kitchen to chat to our weary chefs! All the produce our chefs have baked from pies, pasties and stuffed breads to scrumptious cakes and sones, will be Available for sale with all the proceeds to go to Oakhaven.
Expect Live Music, Old fashioned fete games, wine tasting, local ale and children's activities.
At 4pm Rachel & Phil will down tools and draw the raffle which will include, amongst other prizes, a beautifully decorated freshly baked three tier celebration cake made in the early hours !
