Story
As lots of you know neither Izzy or I are particularly sporty and after running a half marathon a few years ago, I vowed never to do it again... Some how we’ve talked ourselves into running double that distance and have committed to raise £2000 each in the process! This is going to be a HUGE challenge, but we know it will be worth it as the money raised will be going to a cause very close to our hearts.
This year marks the 11th anniversary of my Grandad Guy’s passing & we will be running the 26.2 miles for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in memory of him. He suffered with MS for over 35 years, but despite this he had an inspiring attitude towards life and coping with the disease - something I hope never to forget. He was hugely passionate about sport and I’m sure it came as a big disappointment to him that neither Izzy nor I shared his enthusiasm! Hopefully in running this we will be redeeming ourselves somewhat...
If you’re able to donate anything at all it would mean the world, and hopefully go some way to fighting this horrible disease that affects so many lives.
Thank you so so so much.
If you want to see our struggles, Izzy and I will be posting training updates along the way
