Story
On remembrance Sunday I will be walking Pen Y Fan with the team at Who Dares Gyms to raise money and awareness for four charities: My Time Young Carers, The Dorset Children's Foundation, Reorg, and Rock 2 Recovery:
We will reach the top of Pen Y Fan (now famous within the Special Forces Community for its test march on week two) by 11am to take a 2 minute silence and raise a toast to commemorate WW1, WW2, FALKLANDS, IRAQ, current and secret missions in honour of the fallen and also the injured.
A bit about the charities:
Rock2Recovery: "Our mission is to save and change the lives of those in our Armed Forces, our Veteran Community, the Emergency Services and their families who are affected by stress. Our purpose is to inspire and coach towards a more positive future."
The Dorset Children's Foundation: "The Dorset Children’s Foundation is an independent local charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities living within our community."
MYTIME Young Carers: "With an educational approach driven by charitable action, our mission is to level the playing field for young carers by providing them with the support, friendship and opportunities that every child deserves."
REORG: "We teach the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu to those who have serious, life-altering injuries, or who are suffering from PTSD and depression."
