Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
On August 10th this year, we will be taking part in Ride London with a group of friends and family, to raise money for Bone Cancer Research Trust.
Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and then follows a 100-mile route through the capital, into Surrey’s stunning countryside, before we battle back to finish on The Mall in central London.
We are raising money in memory of a close family friend, Alex Lewis. Alex
was cheeky, fun and caring and the most inspirational person ever. Alex was
diagnosed with Osteosarcoma when he was 17. He fought hard for 4 years but
sadly passed away just 5 days after his 22nd birthday, which was also the same
day that he got married to his lovely wife, Ali. Since he passed away, family
and friends have been taking part in lots of fundraising activities to help
BCRT, something that was very important to Alex.
If the thought of us cycling ONE HUNDRED miles isn’t enough to make you laugh and hopefully give us a few pounds, then you should watch this incredible documentary that the BBC made about Alex’s story:

Around 450 people are diagnosed with bone cancer each year in the UK and Republic of Ireland, mainly affecting children and young people between the ages of 10 and 24. The most common types of bone cancer are Osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma.
BCRT sets out to improve the outcome for people with primary bone cancer through research, awareness, information and support.
Please please please help us out in any way you can. Thank you!
