Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
In 2020 I was meant to run my first marathon (Berlin), however due to Covid my plans had to change. Instead, I utilised 5 months of lockdown to run the distance from Land's End to John o' Groats (1,407km), whilst working full-time! Over the 169 days I had 10 days off running and picked up a few accidental PBs along the way (5km - 22:25, 10km - 47:59, Half Marathon - 1:48:27). Over the 24 weeks I averaged 58 km per week, with a massive push at the end to run 160 km in the last 12 days of the challenge.
It's now 2022 and the Berlin marathon is back! In September Nic and I will be taking on the challenge.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition affecting more than 130,000 people in the UK. MS is a lifelong condition, currently without a cure. The MS Society's 'ultimate goal is to find a cure. Until then, we're working to make sure no one has to face MS alone. Everything we do is guided by people with MS. Because together, we're stronger.'
My dad has suffered from MS for many years, so I have seen first hand the impact it can have on a person's life. He now lives in a care home, but remains positive. Help us support people like my dad by donating to this page.
