Story
Me and my sister will be running the Edinburgh half marathon this May to raise a little money for the Edinburgh Children’s hospital charity.
My baby boy Asa, born 17.01.23 was diagnosed at his 12 week scan with radius deficiency in both arms resulting in him being born with a physical disability. Knowing this from a very early stage didn’t change a thing and we loved him even more. He was born a healthy baby and although we are still waiting on test results coming back, he is the most gorgeous and happy baby I’ve ever met. He’s our world.
My sister and I have chosen to run for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity as they have been working with Leo, Asa and me since we found out about his condition and through many appointments, we have seen how hard everyone works and how kind everyone is at the hospital. There is a huge support network not just for the kids but parents too.
I feel this is the least we can do to give something back to show our appreciation.
Due to an infection, training has been off to a slow start but we are doing this for such a wonderful cause, any support you can give would be appreciated greatly! We aim to raise £500 but I’d love to smash that out the park so any donation big or small will go so far!
Thank you so much for your time and donation, it means the world to us all.
Rosie xx
