Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will be launching ourselves from the highest rooftop helipad in Europe to raise essential funds for London Air Ambulance. We will be abseiling down the facade of The Royal London Hospital, which sits at 17 floors high and is home to the LAA's helipad.

It is Mum's first attempt at abseiling and to say she is petrified is an understatement. She is terrified of heights, and in her own words 'no spring chicken'. So I will be there to help her through it, and if need be give her a push over the edge, if she cant bring herself to let go! It would be a shame if the funds we raise are spent on rescuing Berno, so I will make sure she gets safely to the bottom.

Nearly six years ago the Air Ambulance were there to help Dad when he needed them most, and although he didn't make it, they gave us the opportunity to be with him and say Goodbye. The work they do is invaluable and strongly relies on charitable donations, which is why we have chosen to participate in this event.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
