Our twice weekly fitness sessions are having a makeover for December. Santa Style! Let's hope the streets of West Hull are prepared for three weeks of festive fun. All in the name of an excellent cause. Dove House Hospice has been caring for people in Hull East Yorkshire for almost 40 years. Patients and families are at the heart of everything they do, which was truly shown with the end of life care of Rosie's Grandfather earlier this year. Dove House also provide therapies to help people with life limiting illnesses improve their quality of life and give much needed bereavement support to grieving families. Last year our the Sprinting Santas across the city raised over £12,000 to support  patients in the hospice. Every penny has a huge impact, for example; £25 could pay for a patient to enjoy a lovely homecooked Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. £110  could pay for a patient to enjoy a music therapy session - listening to their favourite Christmas songs, singing Christmas carols and playing instruments. £375 - could cover the cost of a patient's care for a day over the festive period.
