Story

Hello friends!

WE DID IT!!!!!!! Thanks so much to everyone who has already sponsored - we're very touched by all the incredibly generous donations. You are all superstars. We  will 100% make over £1000 for The Choir With No Name, which is AWESOME.

I've updated the photos with some pics so you can have a laugh at our expense. In summary, it was tough and muddy (go figure) - it was a hard slog, it took us 4 hours, and we ached a lot afterwards! It was also very fun.

A bit about Choir With No Name:

Choir With No Name brings together people who are or have been homeless; every week everyone gets together to sing fantastic songs and eat a home-cooked meal. We also perform gigs. As most of you will know, I’ve been volunteering for a year and feel really touched by how much it means to everyone who is part of it.  For people who are on the edge of society, Choir is a safe and caring community. It brings people real happiness, meaningful support, and a huge boost to self-esteem; one of our members recently said that Choir is the best therapy she’s ever had. Please do check out their website: http://choirwithnoname.org/

What we did:

We did a Tough Mudder: it was an 11 mile muddy, extremely hilly run with 25 obstacles! We -

- Swam underwater through 10 tonnes of muddy ice

- Got electrocuted

- Crawled through really tiny tunnels and under barbed wire

- Jumped 12 feet into ice cold water

- Attempted hard-core monkey bars

- Climbed very high fences

Amongst other fear-inducing ridiculousness!

Thank you so much for all of your donations, lots of love xxx
