Hugh died aged 19 having been correctly diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma 4 days before his 16th birthday 04/10/1999. For 10 months before that he was being treated for a Sports injury. This is very common because Ewings is very rare.

BCRT is still doing a great job. They get funding for research into the rare cancers that big pharmaceutical companies are not interested in.
