Story
We're raising funds to help the Missing People Choir to bring families with missing loved ones together to sing. After Alice went missing Missing People supported our family with poster appeals and counselling. After her death, the choir sang Alice’s song ‘Don’t Let it go Away’ at the 2015 Carol concert at St Martin in the Fields. After that performance, I joined the choir, along with Nina, and use singing as a way to connect with Alice. I find it very therapeutic. The choir has brought together the families of those who have experienced missing, publicised and raised money for the charity and brought missing people home. I am asking people this year to support the choir. Charity funding has been cut to the bone and the charity can no longer meets the costs of this innovative project. In time, the choir will become self sustaining, but now, we need support so that we can continue to raise awareness for Missing and funds for the charity. Please think about donating. Imagine taking me for a coffee or glass of wine for my birthday and donate instead - any donation would be welcome as we try to relaunch the choir.
