When stroke strikes  part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt.

 I work in a stroke therapy service with stroke  survivors and have seen the determination and motivation people have 

Our team also link with the the stroke association. This charity offers specialist support and advice to stoke survivors and their families The  research and campaigning they do is only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community..

That's why I've chosen to be part of #TeamStroke by taking on Swim for Stroke and raising vital funds. I want to complete this challenge and raise £ 500
